Sunday School

Join us for our 2023-24 Sunday School program! Sunday school is held during part of our 9:30 worship services. Children start worship with their families in the sanctuary. Immediately following the Children's Sermon, Sunday schoolers (ages 3 to 5th grade) will join leaders in Fellowship Hall until returning to worship in time for communion with their families.

We are also planning one Wednesday evening a month for family fellowship time and Sunday school deep-dives across generations.

Confirmation

Join us for our 2023-24 Confirmation program! Confirmation is open to 6th-8th graders and is held on Wednesday evenings 6:00-7:30pm. Each includes a shared meal (usually pizza), group song or activity, large group lesson and small group time.

Our confirmation program is designed to partner with parents, grandparents, and other care givers to nurture and help our youth grow into their Christian faith as followers of Jesus. Throughout their years in confirmation, youth are expected to serve in various areas of the church as well as attend and stay on top of worship services via Worship Insights.

After three years of growing in their identity as a "child of God," we celebrate the Rite of Confirmation on Reformation Sunday of their 9th grade year.

We hope that through confirmation ministry our students will:

  • Grow in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Learn the stories of the Bible and grow in their understanding of Lutheran theology.

  • Connect in meaningful relationships with peers and adults in our faith community.

  • Develop a solid foundation for further growth in personal faith and involvement in the church and outside of it.

Youth Night & Events

Confirmation and high school youth are invited to participate in our monthly youth events. We often share a meal of pizza and hang out playing games at church. We also like to throw in some volunteer events and offsite field trips.
