Join us for worship and community each Sunday at 9:30 am! We gather in person and also offer livestream services through our YouTube channel.

We are a congregation that values Lutheran worship, celebrating our tradition in form and hymns. We embrace music that is global, gospel, folk, or rhythmic. We worship to:

Fruits of the Spirit

Enter God's story and be reminded who we are and whose we are.
Confess our brokenness and receive forgiveness—being freed of all that burdens us.
Place our trust in the one who brought this world into being, redeemed it, and now dwells with us.
Share our joys, sorrows, needs, concerns, celebrations, and hopes in prayer.

Offer God our time, talents, and resources for the safe of God's mission in the world.
Celebrate Jesus' coming to us in the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion.
Be formed into Jesus' disciples, whom he sends to share God's love with others at work, in our neighborhoods, at school, and wherever we find ourselves.

What to Expect

Service Format

Our services include traditional elements of liturgical prayer, reading, song, and teaching.
Communion is celebrated each Sunday, and all are welcome.
A typical Sunday worship service is one hour long.
Be sure to join us in Fellowship Hall for coffee, treats, and community following service.
Come as you are, all are welcome!

Music

Each Sunday at Oak Knoll is a unique music experience. Our Music Director, Matt Cerar, takes great effort in incorporating a wide range of music, including traditional hymns, European-style classical music, choral singing, folk music, spirituals, Gospel music, and more.

Music is a core value at Oak Knoll. There are many ways for all to get involved.

Children in Worship

We welcome—and—encourage children in our worship services.
Our Pray Ground at the front of the sanctuary offers engaging activities so parents can worship with their children in a fun and relational way.
Our children's area in Fellowship Hall offers another area filled with toys to keep kids busy while parents can listen to the service over the speaker system.
Children of all ages are welcome to join in the Children's message during worship.
Sunday school is offered for children ages 3 years old through 5th grade during part of worship service.

FAQs

Who can receive Holy communion at Oak Knoll?
We invite all to come forward to receive Jesus' gift of forgiveness and grace. Gluten-friendly wafers and grape juice are available.
Is the building accessible?
Yes. Our building is one level and handicapped accessible, with reserve parking available near the entrances. We offer large-print bulletins.
What should I wear?
Wear what makes you comfortable and dress as you who you are. We believe that God cares more about the state of our hearts than the state of our attire, and we encourage you to dress the way that feels most appropriate to you.
Do you have inclusive restrooms?
Yes, we have a family and gender-neutral restroom located in the preschool wing of the church building.
Do you have a nursing room?
Yes, the family lounge in the preschool wing is available to mothers on Sunday mornings.
