Welcome to Our New Music Minister!

Oak Knoll Lutheran Church is thrilled to welcome Parker Degerness as our new Music Minister!

A recent graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Parker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a Minor in Church Music. He sang in the Concordia Choir for four years, and has experience directing ensembles and leading worship through music. His journey began at Hope Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND, where he played piano and drums on the High School Ministry worship team, sparking a lifelong passion for worship and community.

Parker will work alongside Matt Cerar to run the music program here at Oak Knoll, mainly serving as choral director and accompanist.

Parker brings both musical skill and a deep faith to his work, along with a strong commitment to living out God’s story of love, grace, and peace. We’re excited for the gifts he brings to our worship life and look forward to all God will do through his ministry. Please join us in giving Parker a warm Oak Knoll welcome when he arrives in September!
