Lutheran Partners in Global Ministry (LPGM): Our April Ministry Partner

LPGM provides access to quality education for people at the margins—especially women and girls. Oak Knoll partners with LPGM to sponsor 10 students' educations through the Arcot Lutheran Church in Southeast India. Project Education India provides Oak Knoll members a direct connection and communication with specific students coming from the poorest of the poor, allowing them and their subsequent generations a route out of severe poverty that they could not otherwise achieve. We have also sponsored libraries, English+ programs and a Community College preparing students for specific jobs.

These funds will be directed to LPGM and allocated where most needed. LPGM has a high rating in financial transparency and beneficial use of funds.

Trips - LPGM offers transformational travel trips to India, Guatemala, and Tanzania. Participants in these trips make real connections with people, share ideas and meals, shop at local markets, and learn about new cultures and traditions.
