2025 Spring Sing Concert

In May, we celebrated Spring with our Spring Sing and Art Show. This was a well-attended event that showcased all our students’ artwork and their talents. Teachers were also showered with love and appreciation during Teacher Appreciation week. Some of the teachers’ surprises included lunch, breakfast and gift cards. Members of our preschool board and parents worked together to make this a special week.

Our school year ended with spirit week, where children and staff participated in fun daily activities such as p.j. day, dress up day and wacky day. The children enjoyed a special end of the year treat and we presented families with end of the year books.

We are grateful for our 2024-2025 school year. We welcomed 54 children to our program in September for preschool and/or child care. Out of the 54 children, 24 were new to our program. Many friendships were formed with children and families in our community. We were blessed to have weekly chapel with Pastor Jay and Vicar Jennifer. Our oldest preschool classroom paired up with the Gathering group twice monthly this school year and enjoyed music, stories, and activities with our senior friends. The end of the school year is always bittersweet, since we are proud of the work and accomplishments we have made with the children, however it means change. Many of our children will be attending kindergarten in the fall.

Looking ahead this summer, we will continue helping with the sharing garden and having weekly themes for art and activities. We are also excited to welcome the Como Zoo in June to give a special presentation with our child care children. In June we will begin music classes with Ms. Michaela, a music instructor from the Minnesota Music Teacher Association.
