Oak Knoll Christian Preschool & Childcare - April 2025

March was a busy month for our preschool program. We held parent-teacher conferences in the first part of the month and reviewed fall goals. We value this time meeting with families and sharing all the progress that their child is making in the classroom. Our program also had a special presentation from Story Theater, through the Robbinsdale Community Education program. Our special guest readers shared the story Little Quack and the story BeeBee Bird.

Going into April we are looking forward to welcoming spring and helping plant vegetables in the sharing garden. We will also celebrate Easter in Chapel and in our classrooms.

Our plant sale fundraiser will be coming to an end on April 3rd. This is our biggest fundraiser, with our program receiving 30% of the total proceeds. We are expecting to have our plant order delivered to Oak Knoll on Saturday May 17th. More information on pick up times will be sent out via email the day before delivery. This month all our classrooms will be working on their art canvases to showcase at our Spring Sing and Art show in early May. This event is one of the highlights of our school year. In addition to the canvas paintings, the Owl classroom will be sharing all of the art they created during their special artist unit.

Lastly, we are continuing to register new families for preschool and child care. We have several openings in our youngest classroom (ages 2/3) and a few openings in our older classroom (ages 4/5).
