The start of the school year means the start of the Oak Knoll Choir!
The choir started rehearsals on August 28th and we are having a blast. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to join. The choir rehearses Wednesdays during the school year from 7-8:30pm and sings about two Sundays a month. A full year singing schedule is available, if you are interested. Please attend as much or as little as you’d like. If easier, you can choose to participate for a few months to try it out:
September - October (ending with All Saint’s Sunday on November 3rd)
November – December (ending with Christmas eve)
January – April (ending with Easter)
April – June (ending with Pentecost on June 8th)
Bell choir is also rehearsing this fall. The bell choir rehearses occasionally to bring joyful music to our worship services. For information about Bell Choir this fall, please contact Beth Key at htebyek@gmail.com.
September will bring about some exciting music to our Sunday services. Sonja and Sylvi Leppa will provide beautiful string music during our September 8th service, and John Hermanson is planning to visit again for a few services in September. The Oak Knoll Choir will make their season debut at the September 22nd service and will sing a few congregation favorites. Let’s Sing a New Song!
