Although Oak Knoll no longer participates in delivering meals to Our Saviour’s Housing, we continue to support their services as a ministry partner and supply them with snacks as needed and sandwiches from our Sandwich Ministry.
Our Saviour’s Housing provides shelter, housing and supportive resources to men and women experiencing homelessness.
Our Saviour’s Emergency Shelter serves homeless adults (aged 18+) who are in immediate need of a safe place to sleep at night. They provide a bed, three meals a day, and supportive resources to 21 men and women every night of the year. The shelter is open to guests 24/7. This shelter is the first step in moving from homelessness to home.
Our Saviour’s Permanent Supportive Housing Program serves long-term homeless men and women who live with a mental illness, physical disability, and/or substance use disorder. For as long as needed, they support more than 100 residents in affordable rental housing, on-site and scattered around Hennepin County. After years (even decades) of homelessness, residents have truly found their way home. With ongoing support, they also work to improve their overall health and wellness.
Your contributions help keep Our Saviour’s Housing providing needed services for the homeless. You can donate to our ministry partner in person or online at oklutheran.org/give-online. Learn more about Our Saviour’s Housing at oscs-mn.org/our-saviours-housing/.
