Meet Vicar Chantal

Hello Everyone! My name is Chantal Branker and I have the honor of serving as the next Intern at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church, beginning September 2nd, 2025.

I was born in Rhode Island and raised up and down the East Coast, with Virginia being my primary home. While becoming a doctor and caring for people was my dream growing up, God had other plans for me. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies. In college, I was a part of Intervarsity, serving on our Discipleship Leadership team. I started my Masters of Divinity at Luther Seminary in 2021. Throughout seminary, I have served at Peace Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids, one year as a Confirmation Teacher and two years as their Youth Director.

I live right around the corner in Hopkins with my husband Nate. In my spare time, I love crochet, embroidery, cross stitching, reading, and exploring new sights (especially if I can get there by scooter.)

I am so excited to be working with you all this year and cannot wait to see what God has in store for us!
