Internship Insights

Hello Oak Knoll! My what a busy month of September it has been for me. From learning about our numerous ministry partners, including ICA and Beacon Housing, to getting to meet and reflect on ministry with other local pastors, to kicking off the school year with our youth at Confirmation and the Youth Bonfire, each week has been filled with so much learning and new memories being made. I am grateful for the warm welcome you all have given me as your new pastoral intern. Your support as I transition into this role has been so greatly appreciated.

As I look towards next month, I am so excited for what is up ahead! From celebrating our confirmands on Reformation Sunday, to the meeting of the Joint Ministerium, and of course Trunk or Treat, I know that October is going to be full of more learning opportunities for me and for all of us!
