Greetings! I wanted to share some wonderful news with you all. Oak Knoll has generously donated over 1000lbs of products and food to our mission partner, the ICA food shelf, in the past few months. This incredible response has truly made a difference in supporting our neighbors in need during the holiday season. We received a fantastic variety of donations, including personal care items, paper products, pet food (because furry friends need love too!), and a wide selection of food items.

Thank you all for your generosity and kindness!

2025 Highlights
Â
2025 was a wonderful year for ICA! More neighbors than ever were able to get the assistance they deserve.
Â

In 2025, Executive Director Dan Narr visited Washington D.C. to talk about the hunger crisis happening in America. He also met with Minnesota Rep. Kelly Morrison and spoke to local community members about the rise in grocery prices in Minnesota. In 2026, ICA is determined to grow our statewide impact in local policy spaces.Â
Â
Our 2025 Turkey and Holiday Meal program was a great success! We raised more than $70,000, served more than 1,000 families and distributed more than 1,000 turkeys.
Â

In response to the federal shutdown in October and November with the cut of SNAP benefits, ICA stepped up. We expanded food shelf hours, opened additional emergency food sites, and launched new curbside pickup options so that every neighbor could access food with dignity, flexibility, and choice. We had hundreds of food drives supporting us, many new one-time volunteers, and $1,500,000 raised in donations. We were able to meet these urgent needs because of you.
Thank you for investing in ICA's mission and helping us serve our neighbors in need!
