Thank you for your generous commitment and support of our ministry together as a community!
We are thrilled to share that 98 households have made commitments totaling $488,000 for 2026 ministry. This reflects the glad and generous hearts of this beloved community.
Thank You!
Your faithful response ensures that Oak Knoll will continue to be a place where Jesus’ love and grace are proclaimed, lived, and shared as we:
GATHER in vibrant, life-giving worship and fellowship.
GROW the fruits of the Spirit through ministries that reach from our neighborhood to the world.
CELEBRATE God's abundance by welcoming all to Christ's table.
A Community of Glad and Generous Hearts
Acts 2:46-47 describes the early church: "Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people."
This is who we are! A community that gathers with glad hearts, grows in faith and service, and celebrates God's abundance through generous living. Your commitments are a testament to your trust in Jesus’ self-giving and ongoing work in and among us.
It’s Not Too Late
If you haven't yet made your 2026 commitment, it's not too late! We welcome your participation at any time. Simply:

Every commitment matters, and we'd love to include yours as we do God’s work in 2026.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
As we move into 2026, we do so with thanksgiving for three decades of ministry in this facility and nearly a century of faithful witness as Oak Knoll Lutheran Church. Because of your generosity, this house will continue to "proclaim from floor to rafter: All are welcome in this place." (Marty Haugen, "All Are Welcome," ELW 641).
Together, we are living into God's vision of a beloved community where all are welcomed, the fruits of the Spirit flourish, and Christ's love transforms lives.
With deep gratitude,
The Generosity Team: Lori Ahmad, Suzanne Burman, Sue Carlson, David Hakensen, Kim Hakensen, Fred Moore, Meg Gumbiner, Brooke Ruhlin, Pastor Jay Rudi
