Learning About Ashes
This month’s Dinner and Family Night was spent learning about Ash Wednesday, playing a game, and painting crosses. Special thanks to Janelle Weiser for leading the evening. The next Dinner and Family Night will be April 10th, due to Lent dinners and services in March.
Congratulations to Our Second Graders!
We celebrated with our second grade friends during worship on February 11th, as they received their Connect Bibles. Congratulations to Kieran Bradley, Hayden Henning, Dale Johnson, McKenna Korsman, and John Williams.
Spreading the Love
The February youth night was an evening of emojis and giving back. We wrote letters, tied a blanket, and made burritos for Heavenly Burritos. We also had a few fun games at the end.

The youth heading to the National Youth Gathering this July are holding a Parents’ Night Out fundraiser for kids ages 3-11. Drop your children off while you enjoy a night out. We will enjoy pizza, crafts, bingo, and more. Sign up now!
VBS Registration is Open!
Vacation Bible School will be held June 24-27th, 9:30-noon. All children ages Pre-K – 6th grade are invited (must be potty trained). We will be diving deep into friendship with God. Register today!

Upcoming CYF Events
Leadership Opportunity for 9th-11th Graders
Gustavus has an event called Step Up Day open to 9th-11th graders. It is a leadership development workshop held on campus to introduce youth to college-level concepts of leadership and offer practical tips for developing a stronger personal plan for continuing to grow as a leader. Our current seniors participated in the class a few years ago. There's a small scholarship opportunity that goes with it.
