Sunday School Summer Fun

In July, we learned about the Woman at the Well during our Summer Fun morning. We made a lot of projects, learned about Living Water, ate snacks, and played outside. Check out our Living Water artwork in Fellowship Hall!

Bring Me A Rose

This is the song that our Christikon campers sang Sunday morning in church after they arrived home. If you couldn’t be there, I encourage you to watch the YouTube video of service. These kids did a tremendous job. They led the entire service and shared insights from their time at camp.

High Schoolers Take On Valleyfair—In the Rain

This year we didn’t get to ride as many rides as we would have liked thanks to a 1.5+ hour rain delay. But the kids still seemed to have fun together. I’m not sure how the boys managed to dodge all the photo opportunities.

Sunday School Registration Is Open!

Fall Sunday school will start on September 14th. It will be held during part of worship service. All children 3 years old through 5th grade are welcome to join us. Please register today and consider donating toward the program costs. More details, including a calendar, will be available soon. Confirmation Registration Is Open!

Confirmation will kick off September 10th with a parent and youth meeting. Regular confirmation nights will begin on September 18th. Confirmation is held each Wednesday from 6:00-7:20pm, starting with a meal and ending with small groups. More details, including a calendar, will be available soon. Register your youth for confirmation today at oklutheran.org/youth.

Save the Date—Blessing of the Backpacks – September 7th

As we enter the start of a new school year, children and youth of all ages are invited to join us for a special Blessing of the Backpacks during worship on September 7th.

God's Work. Our Hands.—September 7th

Immediately following worship, all families are invited to join us in Fellowship Hall for great hands-on service activities. We will be making sandwiches, burritos with Heavenly Burritos, and cards for the children we sponsor through LPGM in alongside other projects.

Fall Fest—September 14th

Join us for worship followed by our annual Fall Fest! We will enjoy Heavenly Burritos and fellowship as well as fall activities.
