CYF Faith Formation Update

A Creation Morning

We had a fun morning of Sunday School Summer Fun for our Sunday school-aged friends on June 20th. We re-learned about the story of Creation and had a whole morning full of creating. We made ice cream, creation pictures with nature items, and bouncy balls (only two turned out). In addition, the kids did a terrific job creating snack bags to be delivered to Our Saviour’s.

Campers Will Head Out in July

On July 11th, 15 youth and 4 chaperones will head off to Montana for a week at Christikon. Ten youth will be doing the trail hike where they hike from place to place each day, setting up camp each night. Three youth will be setting up a base camp in the wilderness and enjoying day hikes, while two will be enjoying cabin life during the week.

At the end of July, nine of our high schoolers will head to Luther Crest to

participate in the Blazers program—an opportunity to help lead while enjoying friendships and traditional camp experiences.

High School Youth Trip to Valleyfair—July 23rd

High school youth are invited to attend a field trip to Valleyfair. We plan to leave around 10am and return around 3pm. More details and cost will be shared closer to the time. Sign up today!
