Council Update

September was a busy month! In addition to welcoming Vicar Chantal Branker, we welcomed 9 new members! Sunday school resumed for the year. We celebrated with the fall festival and repair work began on the EIFS.

At council, we received updates on the property projects. The HVAC in the Al Anon wing needed urgent replacement and a new freezer was purchased for the kitchen. The cabinets for the office remodel have been ordered.  Work will begin when they arrive.

The Generosity Campaign Committee has begun their work planning our fall drive. Pastor Jay and Pastor Michele gave us updates on our Ministry Partners. Beacon Housing, ICA, Global Refuge and LSS have all been impacted by federal budget cuts.  Please keep our ministry partners in mind when considering your charitable giving for the year.
