Council Update

Greetings to Oak Knoll members and friends!

We had our August council meeting this past week. It is always hard to move towards the end of summer and transition to fall, but we have a lot to look forward to in this next season! We are welcoming a new vicar next week who will join us for the next year. Be sure to introduce yourself and welcome her to Oak Knoll.

Choir starts up August 28th, come and join us!!

We will have an outdoor worship service on September 1st, weather permitting!

Thanks to the generosity of an estate gift we are able to put a new roof over the Sunday school and Gathering section of the church and this will happen in September.

 We will be celebrating the 20-year anniversary of Oak Knoll Christian Preschool during Fall Fest on September 15th.

We are celebrating a completed audit report and . . .paying off the church debt! What a great feeling!!!

We have fresh new paint in the Rose room! We have an engaging Civic Faith and Life classes taking place on Thursday evenings that have had a high number of attendees and great reports! Confirmation begins September 11th, a volunteer appreciation dinner is planned for October 8th and then  the Trunk or Treat meal that is so much fun on October 30th.

2024 Council President
