Happy post-Thanksgiving to all Oak Knoll members and families! As this is written, the turkey will already be enjoyed – including the turkey sandwiches and probably the turkey soup enjoyed as a second meal after the “big one”.
The council has not met yet since the last newsletter, so this will be short. As we say goodbye to the family Thanksgiving feasts, we look forward to celebrating the anticipation of celebrating the birth of our Savior. The council will be meeting in the first week in December to discuss a number of agenda items so the next newsletter will be more informational.
As a member of the choir, I can tell you we will have a busy month of December, filled with special music and a number of familiar pieces. It will be a great way to celebrate this wonderful occasion.
As you navigate through the sometimes-stressful times this month of December can bring, please keep the focus on the “reason for the season”. Many thanks go out to the staff of Oak Knoll and you, the members of this fine church family!
