Camp Wapo is a great option for our 2nd through 9th graders. The Seeds Weekend is designed specifically for “first time” campers and is a Friday – Sunday experience. Our Seeds Weekend is scheduled for July 16-18. Students stay in cabins with a camp counselor. They eat, play and learn for two days and it’s a great experience for our younger campers! The 4th – 9th graders attend a weeklong camp beginning Sunday, July 18th finishing on Friday July 23rd. Our students who attended last year loved it! If you have questions or want to talk to a student or parents who has attended in the past, please call Stephanie.
Finally, our high school trip this year will be to the Boundary Waters to Wilderness Canoe Base. This will be our 18th consecutive year traveling to the BWCA, so it’s obviously a trip that is much loved by students and adults alike. Students must have completed 8th grade in order to go on this trip as it is a physically challenging trip that includes carrying packs and canoes but don’t let that scare you. It’s an amazing experience that you won’t want to miss. Canoe trip is July 30-August 5, for 9th - 12th grade.

CHILDREN, YOUTH & FAMILY TEAM
To direct the future of our youth programs, including our nursery, Sunday school, Confirmation and more, we formed a Children Youth & Family (CYF) Team. This team will work throughout the summer and beyond to determine future learning and service opportunities for our kids and families.
In our Children’s and Youth programs, we service a variety of needs. It includes everything from Vacation Bible School to Christmas Programs to confirmation retreats to summer trips. The CYF team will assist in determining programs, schedules, curriculum and funding. There is a lot to cover and we need to “divide and conquer” to make sure the needs of all our kids are met.
We Are excited about the work that is to be done! Each of our children possess a God-given gift and our mission is to provide programs and opportunities for them to discover that gift and celebrate it in beautiful ways!
