We are a gathering of God’s people who believe worship is central to our continuing passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ; when we gather God’s Spirit is loose and free among us. We congregate to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ in new and old ways, through music that reaches the heart, words that capture the imagination and rituals that brush up against the mysteries. Every act of worship, from the opening hymn to the recessional, is intended to be a channel for us to have communion with God.
Our worship life is an intergenerational mix of people, from guests to long-time members, with a wide appreciation for worship styles. We embrace our Lutheran liturgical heritage, incorporating a broad selection of congregational music and a wide range of instrumentation. We intentionally leave out the titles “traditional” and “contemporary,” seeking to bring all people together as a unified community in Christ. We believe that being “all together” is of greater value than any one worship expression.
We are full of God’s Spirit and sing with great joy. We appreciate organ, piano, guitar, percussion, brass and wind instruments alike. All that we do in worship is to celebrate God’s great love and care for us.
