WOMEN'S ONGOING MINISTRIES....

Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study – meets from 9:30 – 11:00 on Monday mornings.  We will begin our year on September 22 where we will continue studying the Gospel of Luke.

WOW (Women of the Word) --  meets on the first Saturday of the month at 8:30.  Our first session is on October 4 when we will continue our look at Reclaiming the L Word: Renewing the Church from Its Lutheran Core.  This group offers a combination of fellowship and study (along with great coffee and bagels).

Lutheran World Relief Sewing/Quilting
Our dedicated women come together every Wednesday throughout the year to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief distribution. Fabric and yarn is donated by members and friends of the congregation. We are always looking for more hands. If you would like to be a part of this outreach ministry, come join us any Wednesday. We gather around 8-9:00am. Coffee is on at 9:30. We usually finish at 11:30am.

Altar Guild
This group takes care of the altar and communion preparation each Sunday and changes the altar linens for the different seasons of the church year.  The commission of the Altar Guild includes taking care of the flowers, candles, communion supplies and altar linens. New members are always welcome to the Altar Guild, which meets the first Tuesday of the month, at 12:30 in the Fellowship Hall.  For those people who are interested in helping but have limited time, there are opportunities for helping for a given month or season.  If interested please call Jean Bednar.  LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS TO HELP SERVE COMMUNION ON SUNDAYS! Pricilla Circle
This group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 pm in the library and uses the Bible Study in the current issue of The Lutheran Women Today.  Newcomers are always welcome.  If you have any questions please contact Jan Lindberg.

Elizabeth Circle
This group of lively and (self-proclaimed) cantankerous women meets on the second Thursday of each month at 9:30 in the homes of members.  They use the Bible Study in The Lutheran Woman Today as the basis for their discussions.  New members are welcome.  If you have questions or would like to join this circle, please contact Eleanor Amundson or Muriel Nelson.
