Remember the power and effect of congregational joint prayer. We will continue with the organization of the prayer chain that we started in January through February in the Narthex.

THE GATHERING is an opportunity for those individuals who are experiencing mid-stage memory loss to gather together once a month. This ministry enables caregivers to have a time of respite from their responsibilities. We provide safe and enjoyable surroundings for fellowship that gives volunteers an opportunity to serve their neighbors. The Gathering meets twice a month at 10 AM. There are many opportunities to get involved in activities, and to socialize with one another. Further information is available in the church office.
Grief Coalition | Oak Knoll is one of the fifteen sponsoring churches of the West Suburban Grief Coalition. The mission of the Coalition is to assist the grieving in understanding their loss experience in a caring, safe and non-threatening atmosphere.
Sessions are held every Thursday from 4-6 and include social time, speakers and time in small groups. Trained volunteers facilitate the small groups. Devotions and prayer are a regular part of each session. Sessions are intended to complement, not replace professional care.
