Ongoing Groups
Wednesday Evening Adult Bible Study
Throughout the year adults will have the opportunity to participate in different bible study series led by the pastors. Each series will last 5 – 6 weeks
Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study
meets from 9:30 – 11:00 on Monday mornings. This group offers both in-depth study of the gospel and wonderful fellowship.
Wednesday Morning Bible Study
A bible study group led by Pastor Floe. This study meets from 11:30 – 12:30 at the church
Men’s Monthly Breakfast is at 8 am on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Perkins on the corner of Hwy 7 and Hopkins Crossroad.
MIB (Men Ingesting Bagels)
This group of guys catches up on life on the second Saturday of each month at 8:30 am at the church. Come when you can, bagels and coffee are waiting.
Young Adults
Our 20-30 somethings gather several times each year for fellowship & study.
TYTBO (Too Young to be Old) adults in their middle years meet 5-6 times per year for fun & fellowship.
Book Club Meets monthly at the church for lively discussion of interesting books.
Knitting meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00pm in the church library.
Parents of Young Children have two opportunities for getting together for fun and fellowship - feel free to join one or both groups:
Time Apart This group meets monthly for a time of fellowship and dinner at a restaurant or home. .
Time Together This group meets monthly at the church or other specified areas, for time together with children & parents.
Lutheran World Relief Quilting
Our dedicated women come together every Wednesday from 9 am – 11:30 am to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
WOW (Women of the Word)
These lively women meet at church on the first Saturday of the month at 8:30 am. for study and fellowship.
SMALL GROUP UPDATES.....
MIB (Men Ingesting Bagels) is a friendly group of guys who meet each month at church for a time of conversation, bagels and coffee. We also enjoy going out in service together several times a year. Our next meeting is April 10 at 8:30 am at the church. New members are welcome.
Dear Theophilus Bible Study -- is an adult study that meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and is studying The Gospel of Luke; our next meeting is April 13 at 7 PM at the church. Books are available at the church office.
Parents of Young Children, Time Together/Time Apart: New activities will be coming up -- none are currently scheduled. If you want to be included in the evite for either group, let the church office know.
TYTBO – (for adults in their middle years) Are hoping to have a get-together in late April or early May -- if you have ideas, contact Bonnie Christensen or Liz Anema. Once an event is scheduled we will send out an evite. If you are not on our list and would like to be included, contact the church office.
Knitting If you have an interest in knitting and fellowship, please join our knitting group on April 7 at 1:00 pm in the church library. We have a great time knitting, purling and chatting together.
Monday Morning Bible Study – On April 12 we will begin a study of Philippians using NT Wright’s commentary. We welcome anyone interested in our lively study. Books are available in the church office for $10.
Book Club - please note change of book from previously announced. We will be discussing Stones into Schools, by Greg Mortonson on April 26th at 12:30pm. It is about promoting peace with books, not bombs, in Pakistan and Afghanistan and is a follow-up to his book Three Cups of Tea.
Everyone is welcome to join us!
WOW (Women of the Word) continues to welcome new members. We are nearing the end of Anne Lamott’s book, Traveling Mercies – but would welcome new voices to our conversation. Our next meeting is scheduled Saturday April 10 at 8:30am at the church.
