Come and visit the preschool at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church.  You will hear the happy sounds of children learning and playing.  This is what we are about.  Oak Knoll Christian Preschool dedicates itself to providing a high quality Christ-centered early childhood program for children ages 24 months to kindergarten. 

Our mission is to serve the families of the community with an affordable Christian-based preschool.  Children are encouraged to learn through play, to grow spiritually, and to grow through creative expression, social interaction, intellectually development and physical activity.   

The school is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services which assures you that high standards have been met for staff, curriculum, equipment and space.

Nurturing Roots to Grow 

“LOOK WHAT I MADE!!!” 

I watched their excited faces and heard their happy words when the summer fun preschool friends were playing with homemade playdough. It was freshly made and still warm and pliable. They eagerly experimented as they rolled it, pulled it apart, put it together and rolled it again. They didn’t need to make beautiful finished products, they were just creating. Completely absorbed in what they were doing, they continued to touch, to feel, to move, to investigate, to create and play.

Their fun was the playful investigation. And as children play, their imagination grows. 

In Summer Fun Preschool are friends have been learning and playing through creative art. There are two more sessions of Summer Fun. It is still possible join us.

In July our preschool friends will play and learn with sand, shells, bubbles, water, and enjoy being outside. 

In August, we will read stories and make our own edible snacks along with enjoying the wonderful world outside.

Fall Preschool Registration is still in progress. We have classes for 2,3,4, and 5 year olds. Our classes meet 9:30 to 12:00 noon. Call the preschool for more information or registration materials 952-334-8200

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON TO BE A TEACHER HELPER AT THE PRESCHOOL THIS FALL. THIS PERSON NEEDS TO HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN EARLY CHILDHOOD SETTING. THEY ALSO MUST HAVE SOME COLLEGE CLASSES THAT RELATE TO EARLY CHILDHOOD. Call Gloria Spong, 612-385-7143
