LOCAL MISSION PARTNERS

It’s easy to find an opportunity to help feed the homeless on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, but what about the other 363 days of the year? 363 Days Ministry was established with those days in mind. One Sunday a month we make 500 sandwiches during the Fellowship time. These sandwiches are sent to a 363 Days distribution center to be handed out to those living in shelters

ZOOM House provides transitional housing to low-income and    homeless families. Each family is provided a furnished apartment, as well as intensive, personalized mentoring to promote self-sufficiency.

Oak Knoll assists ZOOM House by providing furniture when families move into their apartment. Watch the newsletter for opportunities to donate used furniture. Additionally, Oak Knoll helps with events for the residents. This past year we have organized a fall trip to an apple orchard, sponsored Christmas gifts for several families, and helped move families during ZOOM House’s recent apartment renovation.
