Oak Knoll offers a three-year program of learning and service leading to the Rite of Confirmation at the end of 9^th Grade. Confirmation groups meet Wednesday evenings during Ephphatha and on Sunday mornings after worship.

We hope that through confirmation ministry our students will:

• grow spiritually,
• develop Biblical literacy and an understanding of Lutheran theology,
• connect in meaningful relationships with peers and adults in the community, and
• develop a solid foundation for further growth in personal faith and involvement in the church.  

Confirmation youth serve at Oak Knoll in areas of interest to them including Sunday School, acolyting, nursery, ushering and hospitality events.

JANUARY.................WINTER RETREAT

  The Mystery of the Epiphany

Our confirmation classes gathered at Near Wilderness Settlement at Baker Park in early January to explore the season of Epiphany and to discover how our baptism relates to our confirmation.  We hiked in the dark, kept cabins warm with wood burning stoves and had a great time getting to know each other better.
