LUTHERAN BIBLE CAMP

         

          CAMP WAPO

     "Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp is a ministry of the Church. It seeks to serve congregations in the areas of education in Scripture and Christian living, inspiration, and reflection of personal faith through its setting and programs, understanding and appreciation of God's creation, and experiencing of Christian community. Wapogasset is a camping and retreat ministry serving youths, adults, and families throughout the year. Wapogasset's theology is Lutheran, with an appreciation of all the different expressions of faith within the Christian Church." 

Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp

 SEEDS PROGRAM

(Competed 2nd and 3rd Grades)

Seeds is a weekend camping experience for our youngest campers who have completed 2nd or 3rd grade. Fun and friendly staff will guide your kids through a weekend full of Bible study, crafts, swimming, games, campfires, and more. It is an awesome way to start a lifetime of Bible camping. Arrival and registration begins at 7:00 pm on Friday evenings and will conclude with closing worship at 1:00 pm that Sunday. Parents are more than welcome to attend the closing worship with their children.

·                 Oak Knoll Dates for 2008 are:  JULY 18TH & 19TH 

·                 Cost: The total cost for the weekend is $105 that is due with the registration form.

Youth Camp Program

(4th-9th Grades)

Youth camp is a weeklong program that is designed to help upper elementary and junior high youth grow in their faith in Jesus. Youth will be placed in comfortable cabins with their friends along with two counselors to help guide them through the week. The schedule throughout the week is structured with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities. Each day includes chapel, Bible study, cabin activity, free time, field games, all camp activity, campfire, and a special worship at night. Other activities that will be featured each week include beach bash, masterpiece skit night, capture the flag, servant fair, basketball tournament, carpet ball, frisbee golf, arts & crafts, horseback riding, land connection, and mighty mighty scoop noodle challenge.

Arrival and registration is from 3:00-5:00 pm on Sunday afternoon and the week will conclude with closing worship at 2:00 on Friday. Parents are more than welcome to attend the closing worship with their children.

·                 Oak Knoll Dates for 2008 are:  July 20-15

·                 Cost: The total cost for a week of Youth Camp is $340, which includes a $100 deposit due with the registration form.

 

 

WILDERNESS CANOE TRIP

Canoe Trips – Wilderness Canoe Base – July 26th – Aug 1st

Dave Sanderson is heading up 3 groups (21 youth )of canoeists.  This is a 28 year tradition you have to get a taste of.  Wilderness canoe trips are an incredible journey; an opportunity to learn and reflect on God’s creation, strengthen faith, build teamwork and confidence and come away with a better understanding of how precious this world is.  Cost is $400 per person.  We will leave at 5:15 AM on Saturday and arrive back at Oak Knoll around 8:30 PM on Friday.  Contact Dave Sanderson at
