FALL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADULTS
We are planning a great program year that will start in September. Here are some groups that will be re-convening this fall. All of these groups welcome new members at any time.
Ephphatha Throughout the Ephphatha year our adults will have the opportunity to participate in four different bible study series. Each series will last 5 – 6 weeks and will be led by one of our pastors. Adults may choose to attend any or all of these series. The first series will start on October 7 and will be led by Pastor Paul.
Monday Morning Women’s Bible Study meets from 9:30 – 11:00 on Monday mornings. We will begin our year continuing our look at the Gospel of Mark. This group offers both in-depth study of the gospel and wonderful fellowship.
Wednesday Morning Bible StudyA bible study group led by Pastor Floe is a wonderful opportunity for discussion and to encounter God’s Word. This study meets from 11:30 – 12:30 on Wednesdays in Room 141.
Lutheran World Relief Quilting Our dedicated women come together every Wednesday from 9 am – 11:30 am throughout the year to make quilts for Lutheran World Relief.
Men’s Monthly Breakfast is at 8 am on the 2nd Thursday of each month at Perkins on the corner of Highway 7 and Hopkins Crossroad.
MIB (Men Ingesting Bagels)This group of guys catches up on life on the second Saturday of each month at 8:30 am at the church. Come when you can, bagels and coffee are waiting.
Young Adults Our young adults (20-30 somethings) gather several times each year for fellowship and study.
Too Young To Be Old includes adults in their middle years who get together once each month for fun and fellowship
WOW (Women of the Word) These lively women meet on the first Saturday of the month at 8:30 am.
Book ClubThis group meets on the fourth Monday of each month of the school year from 12:30-2:00 pm in the church library. One of our members leads the book discussion and another brings goodies.
KnittingThis group meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00pm in the church library.
