SMALL GROUPS
Jesus told us that, “where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:20
Talk, laugh, discuss, learn, pray, share stories, eat. This congregation treasures our time together. Through small groups we deepen our connections, and gain a new sense of community. We discover new ways to connect faith and life. We share interests we have in common. We add to our time together. Check out these small groups designed to do all these things. All welcome new members – more information is available through the church office.

Knitting Meets 2nd Wednesday @ 12:00 pm in the Library
While knitting and crocheting this group talks, laughs, and shares stories of their families. They are either busy on their own projects or on a variety of social outreach projects (some knitting/crocheting experience is helpful). One member has made 700 finger puppets; also prayer shawls. But the most popular are the preemie newborn caps made for Methodist Hospital. These little caps are made to fit the size of an orange. The new mothers are so excited to receive these for their new babies.
Lutheran World Relief Quilting Meets every Wednesday @ 9am – 11:30am in Fellowship Hall
If you would like to be part of an outreach ministry, this is a wonderful opportunity. No sewing experience is required – a variety of tasks are available. Please join this group of dedicated women as they make quilts to be shipped overseas to those who have little or nothing. Conversation, lives and coffee are shared along with the quilts. This is a rewarding and fun service opportunity.
